About Robin Antill (Webmaster)

I was born in 1951 in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, England part of a family of 7 children. We lived there until 1966 when we moved to Chertsey in Surrey. I lived there until I got married in 1972 to Molly (nee Bennett). We stayed in the general area until we bought our present house in New Haw, near Addlestone, Surrey.

We have 2 children, Craig Robin was born in 1974 and as a hobby he had designed and was reponsible for an exceptional Motor Sport website Ten-Tenths.Com and also a Garden Buildings website 1st Choice Leisure Buildings even though I say it myself. My daughter, Kelly Louise, was born in 1979 and is interested in books and gorillas.

My father was Wilfred Dolby and my mother was Ivy May (nee Cousins). I have 5 brothers and 1 sister. They are from left to right David, Hazel (on my Mums lap) Peter (at back), Douglas, Donald (on my Dad's lap), Bill (at back) and myself, Robin.

My grandfather, William Dolby, was born in Spondon, Derbyshire, England. His family had lived in Spondon since the 1700's. I believe that his family moved to Spondon from Leicestershire but I have not established this as fact, YET. There is an excellent Web Site about Spondon which is Spondon Lad. My Grandfather appears to have moved to Doncaster in Yorkshire. From there he met my grandmother, Edith (nee Clayton), and they settled in Cleethorpes in Lincolnshire, England. We were all born in Cleethorpes.
